Ernesto M. Ordoñez is President of Cement Manufacturers' Association of the Philippines. He has been a Cabinet secretary for Presidential Flagship Programs and Projects and an undersecretary for 16 years with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Agriculture (DA). He also served as a Governor of the Board of Investments, Chair of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines, Commissioner of the Export Processing Zone Authority, and Director of the National Housing Authority. He also worked as a senior executive at Xerox Corporation in the United States for seven years. He holds a PhD in business administration from New York University, an MA in administrative sciences from Yale University with a summa cum laude average, and an AB in economics from Ateneo de Manila University where he served as its university student council president. |
